Information Security Officer (TÜV)
Duration: 4 days | Protect your company against the loss of sensitive data and confidential information. Get certified as an Information Security Officer (TÜV)!
As an Information Security Officer, your primary responsibilities include coordinating all information security-related measures within an ISMS. From developing and enforcing security policies to implementing specific IT security concepts, your role encompasses a broad spectrum of tasks.
Over the course of four training days, you will be instructed on the responsibilities and requisite expertise of an Information Security Officer, as well as the establishment of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001.
Topics such as responsibilities, structural analysis, BSI basic protection, dealing with security incidents and auditing an ISMS form the main focus of your further training to become an Information Security Officer (TÜV).
By obtaining certification, you also gain the necessary qualifications to serve as an external Information Security Officer for companies.
The examination and certification will be conducted by Pers-Cert TÜV, the personal certification body of TÜV Rheinland, on the fifth day of the training. Together with our partner for personal certification, you will secure market and competitive advantages as well as worldwide recognition and transparency.
Upon passing the Information Security Officer (TÜV) exam, you will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

Target Audience
This course is intended for information security, information technology, IT organization, IT consulting, auditing, and risk management professionals.
In addition, information security officers can use this course to enhance their knowledge of IT security certification and auditing and their implementation.
Eligibility Requirements
There are no formal requirements for participation. Knowledge of the basic concepts of information security and the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, as well as the processes and procedures required in an ISMS (including risk management) is assumed.
